World’s thinnest steel roof
The world’s thinnest steel roof is found at two Rotterdan bus shelters designed by Dutch Studio Maxwan with concave and convex "razor-thin" rooftops reminiscent of a billowing fabric. The 5-by-10-metre canopies measure just 9.5 millimetres in thickness and provide seated shelters for 40 waiting passengers.
