The Aga Khan museum was recently inaugurated at Toronto making it North America´s first museum dedicated to the understanding of Islam. Designed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki, this museum joins a network of centres located in five other cities across the world.

Three students from the School of Architecture have been awarded the Royal British Institute of Architects (RIBA) awards at the recent Oxford Brookes End of Year Show. The prizes are awarded to postgraduate and undergraduate students for overall excellence.
