Three students from the School of Architecture have been awarded the Royal British Institute of Architects (RIBA) awards at the recent Oxford Brookes End of Year Show. The prizes are awarded to postgraduate and undergraduate students for overall excellence.

Lego for architects
Lego launches the Lego Architecture Studio – a new set of building blocks aimed at the architecture and design community. This set comprises of over 1,200 pieces of 76 unique components, from chamfered wedge-shaped blocks to simple bricks, designed to give freedom and creativity to the maker.
Aedas, the world´s fifth-largest architecture firm, has announced a de-merger in a bid to increase its urban high-rise portfolio. The de-merger is designed to allow both its branches to focus on their respective strengths and grow the businesses in different directions.
