Architectural acoustics, largely confined to studios, theatres and auditoriums, is now gaining ground in other venues too. Sounds surround us throughout the day – some are pleasant, some annoying, some muffled and some loud.
"The immediate plan towards acoustics is to create knowledge and awareness on the subject among the various stakeholders," says Venkat Subramanian, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain Gyproc India.
