Paris is to get its first skyscraper in 40 years after Herzog & de Meuron won planning permission for its 180-metre-high Tour Triangle. Once built, Tour Triangle will become the city's third tallest building after the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse Tower.

Bordeaux´s new stadium has been officially inaugurated ahead of its first football match. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, alongside construction groups Vinci and Fayat, the 42,000-seat arena will host the home fixtures of FC Girondins de Bordeaux as well as select games during the 2016 European football championships.
