Four buildings have been shortlisted for the annual ´Best Tall Building Awards´ by Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). The buildings are located in the four competing regions in the world - Americas; Asia and Australia; Europe; the Middle East and Africa, across 33 countries. The best tall building award will be declared in November 2015. Each tower was chosen for its strong commitment to sustainability. The four skyscrapers are: SOM´s One World Trade Center, which is built on the World Trade Center site in New York; Toyo Ito and RSP Architects´ CapitaGreen (Asia and Australasia), a high-rise with vegetated façades; Boeri Studio´s Bosco Verticale (Europe) with a living façade numerous trees and 90+ species of vegetation and Foster + Partners´ Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid Tower (Middle East and Africa) that features an undulating cladding.
