The bath story
The end of 2014 saw the publication of Salvatori´s first ever catalogue dedicated entirely to the bathroom environment. The range was designed keeping two key points in mind: ease of installation and Total Look, underpinned, as always, by Salvatori´s signature elegant design. The catalogue resembles a high-end magazine rather. Robin Broadbent, the New York-based British photographer, renowned for his black and white plays with form and texture, shot the cover; while illustrations bear the unmistakable hand of Londoner Louise Zergaeng Pomeroy.
The sets were designed to turn the conventional rules of proportion on their head with their towering walls and vast floors creating a dramatic background for the catalogue´s heroes: the basins, bathtubs and shower trays.
