The Council of Architecture (COA) withdrew permission to offer the 5-year B Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) course from five institutes viz, MMM's College of Architecture, Pune; NDMVP Smaj College of Architecture, Nashik; Apeejay School of Architecture, Greater Noida; Buddha College of Architecture, Karnal; St Wilfred's College of Architecture, Panvel and Noida International University, Yamuna Expressway, UP. This action was taken after learning that the institutes were not imparting education as per the minimum standards prescribed by the council under The Architects Act, 1972.
Architect Charles Correa's works are currently on show at the RIBA in London. The exhibit designed by Architect David Adjaye features several of Correa's sketches and drawings, architectural models, photography and a film.
