The Development Control Regulations for buildings in Mumbai create unrest amongst the design fraternity since they offer very little opportunity to create open spaces or interesting elevations. City architects give suggestions for amendments to the regulations to enable creativity and disable misuse.

The IPL is long over but the wow factor of the Delhi Daredevils office endures. This Delhi-based office designed by M:OFA has a wooden installation as the centerpiece, which depicts a swirl cloud that emulates the energy of batting strokes from the outside, and resonates with the collective force of thousands of spectators cheering from the inside. A piece of art, indeed! While Coca Cola is known for its unique advertising, it's office in London is equally so, designed to up the happiness quotient of employees! Designed by Morey Smith, the office is a store house of creativity, beautifully fusing art, graphics and modern technologies (a comet-shaped chandelier included) with history, in the 66,000 sq ft office.

He Said She said - no, it's not a verbal duel - a restaurant in Mumbai comes alive with the artful blend of colour, graphic design and imagination spread across the 13,500 sq ft space. Designed by Delhi-based Vishal Gupta of Hookkapani, the space fuses young and funky concepts with cheer and creativity ensuring a steady stream of youngsters hanging out.

The new store for Roksanda Ilincic in London by Architect David Adjaye takes inspiration from Roksanda's latest collection, using symmetry to style the space. With composite marble and concrete being the key materials, the store eludes class and style, something you expect from the work of the charming British Architect. Recently Philips Lighting teamed up with entertainment company Disney India to create LED lighting products for kids to be sold on an e-commerce platform, underscoring reports that India's LED market is forecast to reach $1,457.8 million by 2019.
