Trendy Airport
The terminal one (T1) at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru is set to sport a trendy new look by October û four years after Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) started the work on the project. With an investment of about Rs.1,500 crore, T1 was designed by HOK, a US-based engineering and interior design firm.

Tall Order
After seven years of construction and $2.4bn (ú1.5bn) spent, Shanghai Tower, Asia´s tallest skyscraper and the second tallest building in the world, will soon be opening to the public. Located in the Pudong financial district, the 632m tower composed of 128 floors has a unique spiralling structure and is composed of a tapering outer skin of glass and steel that wraps itself around the building´s circular core. Gensler, the architecture firm behind the design, claims this twisting shape reduces wind load on the building by 24%, thus saving approximately $58m (ú37m) in steel and structure costs.

Celebrity Designer
Richa Bahl, wife of Director Vikas Bahl and designer of Kangana Ranaut´s pad is now busy designing Alia Bhatt´s new Juhu apartment. She is hoping to shift to the new home with her sister early next year.
