RIBA in India
In 2015, India shall have its own RIBA (The Royal Institute of British Architects) chapter! With just under 100 members in India curently, this new chapter will work collaboratively with Indian Institute of Architects.

Mumbai Museum by Steven Holl
Steven Holl Architects to design the Rs.200-cr building at Bhau Daji Lad Museum! Shortlisted amongst 275 entries received for the competition, which included Zaha Hadid Architects, OMA and Amanda Levete, the architects are to design the extension of the museum which includes a conservation centre, library and archives, and a new museum shop and cafT.

Fashionable interiors
Following the footsteps of Georgio Armani, noted fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has taken on interior designing with his new project - the re-designing of The Raleigh on Miami Beach into a luxury hotel and private members club. We wonder if he´ll use his favourite stripes here too!

Investor for start-up
Bengaluru-based personalised home design and dTcor solutions online marketplace, Livspace raised US$4.6M in its Series A funding round. Led by Helion Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, the round also saw participation from Singapore-based Jungle Ventures. Livspace also partners with real-estate developers in the country and has a ´find your apartment´ feature to offer pre-created, ready-to-install interior design for customers who buy homes from these developers.

Bringing light to FB
The new office of Facebook in Warsaw has been equipped with Big Puff lamps in a new hanging version by Poland-based studio Puff Buff Designs. They have also used their Orca floor lamp in the lounge area.
