Trendsetting Tiles

As tiles are increasingly becoming an inseparable part of décor, brands are coming up with innovative options and customers are being spoilt for choice. We present you with some novel offerings from the market leaders in the industry.

Kajaria Ceramics Wood look tiles
Kajaria, one of the forerunners in design innovation and upbeat with latest trends, has introduced the ´Eternity Wood Collection´. Its unique digital glazed vitrified tile offers the strength and durability of tile with the look of wood. It´s a practical way to enjoy natural textures without using wood. These zero maintenance wood finish tiles are available in two finishes - satin and real wood. Both the finishes have a natural random variation to impart a close-to-nature look and a diamond shield coating. The tiles are stain-proof with almost zero percent water absorption. They are also scratch- and abrasion-resistant. The punch effect makes them look like real wood.

H&R Johnson Spanish touch
H&R Johnson´s New Spanish Collection is a range inspired by today´s top cultural, social, architectural and artistic trends. They offer immense opportunity for creativity and encourage designers to mix and match and create their own signature style using many combinations from the collection. The vintage-inspired tiles showcase a luxurious modern look with classic organic shapes. The New Spanish Collection is available in five sub-categories: Modern Clean Line Collection, Art-line Collection, Unique Relief and Textures Collection, True Rock Collection and Metal and Rare Mineral Collection.

Nitco Rough and tough
Nitco´s range of glazed vitrified tiles Kaleido Maroon and Pizarra Smoke bring to the table a rough and rustic look with the ease of maintenance that tiles offer. With 600x600 mm in size, Kaleido Maroon tiles are inspired by an unfinished cement look while Pizzarra Smoke takes inspiration from metamorphic rock and slate. These are HD digital tiles made with six colour prism printing technology costing Rs 95 per sq ft.

Somany Ceramics Slip Shield tiles
Taking forward the tradition of innovation in tiles, Somany presents ´Slip Shield´ floor tiles. The tiles come with a coating that keeps the co-efficient of friction high even when the surface is wet and soapy. This preempts any possibility of slipping. Furthermore, the coating allows for limitless design possibilities, making the Slip Shield tiles well suited to liven-up frequently wet areas in homes, as also in high traffic areas such as malls and restaurants. Somany Slip Shield tiles are also resistant to graze and blemish, hence, lend a sense of timelessness to the design. While being highly functional in nature and easy to maintain, the tiles give a distinctive ambience and ´feel´ even to utility areas.
