Airport architecture

Leslie Jones Architecture, a London-based firm has been awarded the commission to build the Al Maktoum International Airport by the Dubai Airports at the yet-to-be made Dubai World Centre. It is believed to be a 140 sq km site which will help in the ever-increasing tourism and air traffic. The aim of the new airport will be to create a travel environment that is customer-friendly and space-efficient. Since Leslie Jones Architecture is known for creating multi-use spaces, the firm has been chosen for this project. Simon Scott, Head of International Business, Leslie Jones Architecture, will head the design team on this project.
