Chelsea fans rejoice
Swiss firm Herzog & de Meuron led by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, who famously designed the Bird's Nest stadium for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, is said to be working on plans to revamp the west London home of Chelsea Football Club. The primary goal of the revamp is to increase the current capacity of 41,837-seats to accommodate as many as 60,000 spectators. For the same it’s working alongside British firm Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands and is exploring how the Chelsea Football Club can increase capacity at the Stamford Bridge stadium.
