GoodEarth Malhar Footprints, an eco-village spread over seven acres of land, located in Kengeri, Bengaluru, by GoodEarth Homes, has been recognised by Asia´s Green Design competition: The FuturArc Green Leadership Award 2015. GoodEarth Homes is known for constructing environment-friendly and sustainable neighbourhoods. The project also won a citation award in the Residential - Multiple Houses category.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers´ Associations of India (CREDAI), apex body of private real estate developers, have partnered to promote green buildings in the country through IFC´s EDGE certification. EDGE stands for Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies and is a standard that will focus on energy and water efficiency in buildings. It aims at empowering builders and home-owners to choose an eco-friendly technical solutions while capturing costs and projected savings.

Sweden-based Maleras, a brand for glass collectibles, has appointed West Bengal-based ST Unicom as their exclusive distributor in India. With this alliance Maleras will be reaching out to all leading luxury retail stores for home décor and accessories in India.

Parryware unveiled its new brand image to re-establish its leading market position in the bathroom segment. The brand, with an existing market share of 30 per cent, is on a mission to capture the leadership position by penetrating into all Indian households. To further establish its market presence by end of FY16 across India, the company aims at expanding its retail presence by increasing its dealership network in two and three tier cities by launching new businesses and new channels by end of FY 2015 across India.
