The June 1984 Sikh memorial being built for those who lost their lives in the Operation Bluestar is nearing completion! Marble procured from Alwar in Rajasthan has been used inside and outside the memorial. The craftsmen from Makrana, Rajasthan and Agra, Uttar Pradesh have been called to engrave on the interiors, which would be identical to those in the Golden Temple.

The Tarun Tahiliani designed hotel The Sol in Goa has found itself a new name and a refreshed design. Now called The Sofala, it is part of the Troca Hotels chain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boston East India Hotels. The hotel design stays true to its Portuguese-inspired architecture and makes the best of the views it offers.

Jammu is going to be home to a first-of-its-kind Natural History Museum, which is expected to be thrown open for geologists and public by June this year. Called the Wadia Museum of Natural History, the museum will be housing some rocks, minerals and fossils besides the articles unearthed by the geologist in the state over the years.

The bollywood wives Gauri Khan and Suzanne Roshan take their designer status rather seriously! Currently, they are working on a mansion in Ampad village near Vadodara. The mansion is being built by Sandesara family, proprietor of Sandesara Group, one of the city's top business houses. Being developed on a 60,000 sq ft of land, the ladies have a massive canvas to showcase their creativity.

Country Inns & Suites by Carlson SM has partnered with celebrity interior designer Genevieve Gorder to launch a new brand identity and a new generation hotel prototype. Hope she makes the hotels look as good as her!
